Abdullah bin Mas'ud radhiyallahu anhu said:
مَا أَحْسَنَ عَبْدُ الظَّنِّ بِاللّٰهِ قَطْ إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى ذَالِكَ، وَ ذَالِكَ أَنَّ الخَيْرَ كُلُهُ بِيَدِهِ
"No a servant is prejudiced to God except God gives to him his prejudice, because that good things are in His hands." (Kitabuz Zuhd Abu Dawud as Sijistani: 132)
Husnuzzhan to Allah is our duty to Him. Allah knows better and cares more for us than our love for ourselves. Show good faith toward Allah because Rasulullah shallallahu alaihi wasallam said:
قَالَ اللَّهُ أَنَا عِنْدَ ظَنِّ عَبْدِي بِي
"Allah says: I always depend the prejudice of my servant to Me." (HR. Bukhari: 7505)
